Today’s cast of characters included:
– the young honeymooners who I must say were looking happy contrary perhaps to the expectations of my older, married walking companions;
– a goat, munching happily in the weeds beside a river bed;
– a fat middle-aged ugly guy who tried to run me over; and
– a father and son who greeted me very politely and gave me a clay figurine of Kobo Daishi which they had made.
mmm? Not sure what that says about my destiny.
